When I got some on clothes, nail polish remover worked quite well (but I would try some first in an out of the way location).

Use nail polish remover to get the worst off, then dab dry, then very gently use a disposable razor to shave the rest out.

This was black nail polish all over a cream carpet in a holiday rental! You honestly couldn't tell there had been anything there.

Crikey! Ok thanks for that! Have tried nail polish remover but it seems to just be smearing it around!!

I tipped red nail varnish on my mum's cream carpet and white spirit (yes I know) got it out

I once got nail varnish on an acrylic jumper and used Stain Devils. It was one of the few times Stain Devils actually worked.

Red nail varnish on cream carpet- window cleaner (green mr muscle kind) and a LOT of scrubbing.
Can't tell where it was now.
