Poo

How do I get poo out of carpet?

SmallBoy hasn't really been a pukey/sick bum boy so don't know what to do but he just had a loose bowel movement on the floor while laying on the floor naked, laughing like a banshee (getting ready for bed).

Help?!

Thanks!

Scrape the solids off and then spray it with a mixture of shampoo and hot water, scrubbing with a cloth or washing up sponge. Rinse carefully, not too wet, and leave to dry.

Did the scraping immediately. Bligh indeed.

Shampoo.... Any sort?

Do I need to Dettol it?

Shampoo because if it is a wool carpet it won't harm it too much, especially if you avoid getting the area too wet. I wouldn't use Dettol. Your house will stink afterwards and hopefully nobody is going to lick the carpet in that exact spot Grin

Given how SmallBoy (3.9) was rolling around laughing before the big poo I wouldn't put it past him to lick.

Wink

I think something is going through him. He still pooed more in the toilet and had the most amazing juicy belch during stories (most unlike him).

Off to boil some water (our new boiler is being installed tomorrow and I have no hot water) and dig out the J&J shampoo.

Thanks BoffinMum.
