Smelly armits in clean washing

Ew. Mr Beggin's shirts are still whiffy in the oxters after being washed at 60 using Ariel. Does anyone know why that would be and can I get them properly clean?

Update on injecting vinegar into roots - it doesn't work after all. Tut. I found some lovely new fresh green leaves lurking under a lady's mantle yesterday. Dammit.

beggin you - i rather thought that might be the case, I will stick to descaling and cleaning.
