We have heavy curtains in the sitting room and they fasten to metal rings on the rail using metal hooks. I think this is a fairly standard fitting, so hope my description makes sense.
Trouble is, the hooks keep unhooking when we open and close the curtains. It's really frustrating. The rail is way above easy access level and it's a real pain to have to keep climbing up to rehook. Even the hooks themselves frequently fall out of the curtains. Surely there is a better system. Has anybody found it? I don't want to have to change the rail or the curtains.
