My lovely Mum was doing my ironing and managed to melt the sleeve of one of DD's dresses onto the sole plate of the iron - she had it set for linen and the dress is polyester...
The dress sadly is ruined but the iron looks pretty sad too.
I've scraped off as much as I can, but there is still quite a bit on there - will it mark my clothes if I use the iron again or can anyone suggest a way to clean it off properly?
