Any ideas how to keep teenagers rooms from smelling

I have just opened the two smelly teenagers bedroom doors and they smell! How do I keep them smell free? Have stripped their beds and opened the windows, has anyone got any other ideas how to have fresh smelling bedrooms?

Laundry and rubbish picked up daily, no meals eaten in there, weekly dust and vacuum.

Plus the regular bed changing and window opening you mentioned.

I'm resigned to a rotation of the natural smell, the lynx cloud & the odd eau de pizza evening.

Once in a blue moon I hear a hoover & find an empty bottle of febreeze in the bin but have not noticed any real pattern to this rare occurrence.

I have opened every window in their rooms, polished and hoovered and giving their beds a good airing hopefully their rooms will smell better soon

Rotten banana skins under the bed gives my DSs bedroom a wonderful aroma and added to the socks is just a real treat for the senses
