Good colour safe stain remover for clothes.

We use non bio washing powder or gel for our clothes, but have realised it isnt cutting the mustard (or tomato stains).

I don't like products with optical whiteners (eg oxiclean) and I have laundry bleach for whites.

Can anybody recommend something that I could ideally spritz on stains before washing?

Washing up liquid applied neat and left on for 5 minutes works for me. I never had good results from those in-wash stain removers.
