black biro on leather sofa

Does anyone know the best method of removing biro scribble from a leather sofa? I usually just wipe the sofa with a damp cloth as that's all the manufacturer recommended. Don't know what else is safe to use. Tried a baby wipe and that didn't work.

milk (full fat ) and vasiline. a stain removal exper reccommended i to me.
You have to apply it over a few days, and be patient but it does work.

dab, dont rub. then blot the vaseline and wipe off.

took me about 5 days to get it out!

really dont be tempted to rub or you will take off the sheen. The fat in the milk breaks the biro down and the vaseline removed it.

It worked for black biro on my cream lether sofa!!!

Baby wipes worked on mine

Johnsons baby oil :) My mother used it and it came out easily :)

Oh thanks everyone. Will try the baby oil. Milk and vaseline sounds like a lot of dedication so I will try it if all else fails.
