Clutter out, good stuff in... Decluttering and Feng Shui??

Over the past few weeks as some of you will know, I've eventually (and thankfully) found my decluttering mojo, spurred on by support from great threads on here and people in the same/similar mess boat as me.

Since getting rid of a load of stuff and getting more organised, over the last few days some unexpected & much-needed things have happened e.g great new work contacts for DH, new doors opened etc.
I like to think maybe it's because I've been decluttering 'stagnant' stuff, allowing positive energy in and all that feng shui DH says mumbo-jumbo malarky.
Most likely just coincidence? Anyone else found the same?

No, but you have inspired me! We need some positive energy and a tidy house so win win! I'll let you know if it works for us Grin.

Wow, that's brilliant news PolkadotRosa. Just wish I could find my decluttering mojo too.

I read quite a lot of decluttering books a while ago (sadly I never progressed to doing much of the actual decluttering) and there was a lot of good advice about making space in your life for new things/experiences rather than keeping yourself stuck in the past by hanging onto old things.

Glad you're having new positive things happen anyway - whatever the reason. :)

Hi all and thanks for your nice replies!
Boris please do let me know if it works! Nothing ventured...and all that. Good luck:)
Eddie It took me a while to find mine too - hope you find yours soon. It will be there, it's just v.good at hiding!
leeloo thank-you:) Hopefully you're right and new things and better times are a-coming. I was the same, reading all about decluttering/organising rather than doing it. Procrastination at its finest!
