I have nust inherited gorgeous blind but it has blacl mould on the lining just at the bottom section. It hasn't co e through to the front.
I thought washing up liquid and soda crystals may shift it but it hasn't. Can anyone suggest what might please? I don't mind if the stain doesn't come out but it smells bad so just to get rid of that and freshen it up would do.

To get rid of the smell first try hanging it outside in the sun. If that doesn't work baking soda cannot be beaten - you don't say what it is made of so I don't know if you can immerse it completely in water to which the baking soda has been added but if not I would brush dry baking soda all over it and then put it in a plastic bag/bin liner for a few days with even more baking soda. Alternatively make up water/baking soda mix and brush it on. You might have to treat it more than once to get rid of the smell completely. Good luck!

Brilliant thanks flaming! it is outside at the moment but still stinks. Yet another good use for baking soda. I am sadly excited about trying it out. Grin Thanks

Maybe find a local curtain maker and ask them to re-line the blind if the baking soda doesn't work.
