Water marks on nubuck

I'm hoping you lovely ladies can help. My one pair of summers shoes got 'watered' the other day, they have really bad water marks now.
I've tried steam brushing, but it just made them shiny!

Helpppppppp I've no shoes and no money to buy new ones!

Clarks do a great cream for water marks on delicate materials. Maybe worth looking at. Plus it slightly brightens the shoe too. Make sure you put it on the whole shoe and both of them. Xxx
