Have you got one?

Is it marvellous?

Is it worth the money?

I don't really want to spend more than £800 ish, but are they all crap below that price?

Oh and what is the difference between a free-standing cooker and a range?

And is there any difference in those double ones with the smaller oven at the top and the ones with the smaller oven at the side?

I bought a range-style cooker about 10 years ago. It's a Belling Cookcenter. It has a fan oven, a separate grill, a non-fan oven, and a hot drawer. It also has 7 rings of varying sizes/power. You can also put a griddle thing over 2 of them for griddling steaks or whatever.

Personally I love it. I've had to replace a couple of elements in that time, and there's a hot plate that's stopped working (and can't easily be replaced), oh and the markings are rubbing off making the dials harder to use (I blame DH and his WD40!) but I really love it.

Sorry I'm not up to date with current prices.

OMG

Have just seen an actual old style cooker with eye level grill.

I love it.

Would it be wrong to go for that?
