Washing powder or liquid?

Am sure I read on here somewhere that powder is better than liquid. Have always used liquid but after reading this I decided to try some powder. I know. These are the peaks of excitement in the Mendi household.

Since using the powder, my washing feels "crispy" after it's dry, even though I measure out the powder and use the amount it says on the packet. I line dry it but I did before as well.

I don't use fabric conditioner and didn't when using the liquid either.

So why is the powder making my washing crispy?

I use powder but never use as much as the packet says as I think they tell you to use more than you need. Try using about half as much and see how it goes.
