LG 8Kg F1481TD, LG F1480QDS, or the Bosch Exxcel WAQ28461GB. Trying to choose from the 3. Does anyone own one and can recommend please?

Bosch here. Was recommended by washing machine repair man. Really quiet. Love size of it. (Last machine was less than half the load size.)

What models do you all have please? Thanks for the advice adagio.

Mine's a WAE28468UK, 4 years old.

I use 1400 spin for sheets and towels, 1200 for general clothes and 600 or 800 for delicate items.

I have had the next model up to the Bosch, which has 1600 spin speed but the control panel is identical, for a few months now.

I love my larger drum which I decided to go for against advice about them needing more maintenance on here.

I don't particularly like the buttons. They are touch sensitive and I find I have to tap or touch each one several times to make it respond sometimes which makes me unreasonably frustrated when I'm in a hurry. It is a minor irritation really and overall it's a great machine.

I have the same model you mentioned in your OP.

Gold I actually forgot about that! I agree, that can be frustrating at times; they work best when you just press lightly as they're very sensitive but when you're in a hurry it's damn annoying.

what cycles do you use the most on the Bosch? Is the dark and mixed load cycles any good?

To be honest I just use the cottons cycle most of the time. I am too lazy to think about different cycles for different sorts of clothing.

I love the speed perfect button which brings a 3 hr wash down to 1 hr when you need something quickly.

The best bit for me is the big drum and the really good spin. Everything dries very quickly.

My mother insisted I only ever have Bosch washing machines so I've got this one and its easy to use, cheap to run and has a big load capacity. Very happy so far
