nb it is not a posh antique mirror. It was owned by someone in my family who married in 1870 so is oldish. The mirror glass has been painted with a bird and flower and it is in a sort of arts and crafts wooden frame.
All the back and a lot of the front frame is now mildewed. My h doesn't like it, and got toothpaste on it and all sorts, but I was finally getting to a position where it could be hung up somewhere safe and it is just raddled.
What can I do?
