Hi, can someone PLEASE help me? I'm housesitting for somebody at the moment with my little boy and earlier on I put powder in the washing machine. When I checked the compartment an hour or so later, I saw the powder was rock hard. It was so hard, I couldn't even scrape it off with a knife! I tried pouring boiling water over it, but that didn't work either. The thing is, I don't know if this hard powder was already there or if I created it. Does anyone know if powder can go THAT hard after the first try? Why has this happened? And, above all, does anyone know how to remove it? If anyone has experienced this, please respond. I am so worried that I have done this and messed up the owner's washing machine :(
