Recommendations for carpet cleaning companies

I need my living room -dining room carpet cleaning. It has needed to be done for a while, but DD has just spilt milkshake over the living room floor, so it now definately needs doing. Shock

I've looked on the internet and I can see there are a few methods; dry chemicals (chemdry), wet clean (steam), and eco clean (either wet or dry).

The carpet is 90% nylon, so can take quite alot of wear and tear.

Do you have any recommendations, which might be the best. I know my parents use chemdry, but because they had a heavily patterned carpet I couldn't really see the difference, although my mum swore that the results were noticeable, as did my dad.

I must admit I like the idea of not having a wet carpet afterwards.
