Any tips for getting my white kitchen bin looking like new?

In retrospect a white coloured bin was a terrible idea but anyway I'm now struggling to keep it looking clean. The outside has turned unappealing grey in patches... I've tried soap and warm water but its not getting the grey out. Do I need to use bleach?? Or perhaps vanish?? Anyone have any simpler (and safer!) tips?

What's it made of?

I would try one of those magic sponges or jif type cream cleaner.

Do they sell jif with bleach?

It's a plastic simple human one

I'd try Cif - it's gently abrasive so will bring up more grease and marks than you'd manage with soap and water

I'd consider painting it, or maybe using sticky-backed plastic - so difficult to bleach whites to match..
