Car boots......are they worth a try?

Just that really!
We have loads of stuff to get rid of. I'm looking at one pile of stuff and just thinking of taking photos and adding it to a couple of Facebook groups. I'm not sure how well stuff sells on those, it always looks like things either go within seconds or hang around for ages being constantly bumped. I don't know if I can be arsed with that Blush!
So if I just filled the car and took it to a car boot sale would that be better?!

What are your experiences, opinions?

I'm lurking on the m thread and due cluttering threads but not knowing where to get rid of all the stuff is holing me back and I'm a born procrastinator Grin

When we last moved, we filled up our car and took some good quality goods and what I considered junk (just to see) to our nearest carboot sale.

It was an early start, slightly stressful when setting up as so many people try an take things out of your car before you can unload them, lots of people like to haggle so be prepared and accept that if you want to get rid of things, they may go for less than you would like. Suprisingly, the things I considered junk went first!

At the end of the day we took away over £200 for 4 hours work and had a right giggle at the same time.

I think it is worth it.
