Stain on new white t-shirt

Aghhh.... I bought a new white t-shirt from The White Company. Expensive ( to me). Unfortunately put a stain on the front of it. Despite washing it in Ariel White detergent, using Vanish spray it has only faded. Any suggestions? I had to think long and hard before buying it as I am broke so i am disappointed. Can't remember what stained it. Aghhh!!

Since you can't remember what caused the stain, it's hard to say how to remove it. Some things will fade/disappear if left in sunlight for a few hours so you could give that a go - it works particularly well for curry and tomato stains. Hope this helps.

rub some washing up liquid into the stain with some water and then rewash

I would soak it in the sink with some diluted bleach for a while. That works on pretty much anything.

Another vote for putting it on the line on a sunny day.

Washed it in bleach, hung it out on a clothesline in the sun but the stain is still there. I'm really cross with myself as I was so delighted to get my new top
