Other flats in the block had cockroaches last year & they had pest control done. I have just seen one in the kitchen :(
I've emailed the property management to tell them but in the interim, any advice? Found some gel stuff on amazon that I'm thinking looks good.
Is there ever just one? We had mice recently & got rid, last year it was weevils, feeling really crap (& dirty).

Doesn't automatically follow that you are dirty. If the pest control didn't seal off the property they dealt with Then the cockroaches will have escaped. This happenned in my mother's council flat, they came out from behind her gas fire when the flat downstairs was treated.

I've read that washing powder kills them, works for me on ants, as it contáins bórax. I would inform the LL and put washing powder down around skirting boards, exterior doors and any área you think they could travél. Do you have heating pipes coming up through from the next flat, fe? Air vents, any thing where there may be a gap.

Hope you Get it sorted quickly, disgusting things make my skin crawl.

The complete block needs to be done in order to make it effective otherwise they will just push them from one flat to the other.
