something is rattling in my washing machine

Something is trapped under the drum in the washing machine again. Last time it was the underwiring of a bra and I had to pay to get the drum replaced, it was really expensive.

Don't know what it is this time, think it might be a stiff plastic thing that was in dh's shirt collar. Is there some way I can get whatever it is out myself?

Have a look at the bottom - you may have 1 panel with 2 screws that you can take off. You'll find the emergency hose-pipe in here as well (in case you need to drain it down). Inside the panel there is normally a place for the wire things to go - it's where our rogue screw went and was quite easy for me to remove.

Oh thanks! Didn't think to check for screws!
