And if yay which one?
I may be deluded but I think a steam mop will revolutionise my frankly sluttish cleaning :(
Any thoughts very welcome

I bought the Vax one from QVC in January, initially delighted with it, then it stopped producing steam. Phoned QVC who arranged collection of faulty item and sent a replacement. Loving it again, but if it stops working will try a different model.

I found the vax one so heavy,I could hardly push it comfortably and I'm no light weight myself!

I've got the green H20 one. Love it. We're in the process of moving house (fingers crossed) and the house we're hoping to buy has laminate throughout the downstairs. The dyson will be upstairs for carpets and steam mop downstairs.

Got A vax.

It's fab! I actually have clean floors now, which with 3 kids is a fecking miracle!

valiumredhead · 19/06/2013 20:23

Off you get one from Argos you can just take it back and then you don't pay p and p.m.

valiumredhead · 19/06/2013 20:23

Random m!

valiumredhead · 19/06/2013 20:23

If! Bloody phone

hermioneweasley · 19/06/2013 20:27

Hmmm, very tempted

FattyMcChubster · 19/06/2013 22:22

CMP- ill update as soon as it arrives and I've tried it, fingers crossed!

If I'm honest, the 3 monthly payments were also a bonus from qvc. If its good and I keep it, makes it more affordable for me.

Does anyone know anything about the accessories kits? I'm wondering about the window accessories. Got a lot of glass that needs cleaning!

Keepthechangeyoufilthyanimal · 19/06/2013 22:33

Watching with interest as I have been toying with buying one too. MN jury may have convinced me!

FALSEdichotomy · 20/06/2013 09:07

Another big YES from me. Love mine (now looking for a mini steam thingy)

justpoppy · 20/06/2013 14:09

I have the X5. Its great! Only downside is that its a bit heavy when you use it as a hand held cleaner. I couldn't get on with the widow cleaning attachment - the water kept dripping down the window and it made my arm ache holding up the cleaner. There is an extra pack you can get in Robert Dyas which is like a sling so you can hold it over your shoulder which might make it easier but its another £20. The other attachments are good - the one he dusts between the stair spindles with on the advert is great for doing the kitchen cupboards. All in all I'd recommend!

CMP69 · 24/06/2013 15:11

Its out of stock on QVC (the one with the attachments :(

Love my Vax steam mop Grin. Could never be bothered to mop the floor as the bucket and mop were in the shed, major faf.
Now I mop 3 times a week and enjoy feeling virtuous.

Someone asked up thread if it can be used on carpets?

We have cream carpets and they are looking a bit yucky now. I tried cleaning them with biological washing powder as carpet foam no longer works. I ve now got a patchy carpet!

Tried looking at the reviews on argos. Some say it can be used on carpet but I'd rather hear it from mnetters who have actually used it.
