Basiclly, i went to a festival a the week end. Had a fab time. When I came back to my car, someone had pissed on the back seat. I had my window open at the back! The car now reeks of wee . How on earth do I remove the smell from the upholstery? There's a large quantity I think, and it seems to have soaked right in. Help! Theres no way I can give anyone a lift until this is sorted....... It's serious. My cars no wrecked for ever.... Right?

That's awful. And disgusting. I would try taking it to a specialist valet place. I think they can do steam cleaning of the cushions? I don't think it's one that you can DIY effectively though.

A valeting place did a wonderful job getting dog wee out of my friend's upholstery, I'd try there.

go to the vet and get a neutralising spray for cat pee. I left the car door open overnight and it was visited by the neighbourhood's cats. Spray took about 2 weeks to sort it but car is fibe now.

As calendula said, you can get pet urine cleaning sprays like this that neutralise the smell.

Disturbing though. Who does that?

Ask your local carpet cleaner if they can do it for you? Their machines generally have long hoses so should reach. Get your carpets/rugs/sofas done at the same time so at least something good comes out of this?

Am almost too embarrassed to have a carpet cleaner do it..... What do I tell him? Someone pissed in my car????
