Cleaning stainless steel hob

Right, knowledgable people, I need some advice on how to clean my stainless steel gas hob. It's only been in a few months and I do wipe/clean it after dinner but it has some marks on it that I can't clean off.

I don't want to use something that might stain it permanently, as I know some things are better than others. It's a matte steel, rather than shiny, in case that matters.

Thanks in advance! Smile

Barkeepers friend! You can get in sainsbos. Doesn't scratch but does the job. Smile

I have a stainless steel hob, I find it gets smears and water marks from 'normal' cleaning - my step mum recommended wiping it over with some baby oil once I'd cleaned it and that does make it look as good as new...

Both of the above! Barkeepers to clean and baby oil to buff!

Perfect, thanks! I have ordered some bar keepers friend today, and I'm sure there's some baby oil somewhere from the DC. Flowers
