pencil on walls - HELP!

PinkTulips · 27/05/2006 16:24

my dd has just decorated the wall in pencil scribbles, we live in rented accomodation so i need to get it off asap before landlord sees.

scrubbing doesn't seem to be doing as much damage to the pencil marks as to the paint on the walls so i'm afraid to go at it too much.

somebody please tell me there's a trick to getting it off!

Bread-the doughy part.

Dunno about pencil, but neat cream cleaner gets grubby handprints and cat paw prints off walls pretty well.

If it's pencil won't a rubber work?

Bink · 27/05/2006 16:35

Have you tried just using a rubber? - the hi-tech plastic erasers can be specially good. Regularly use them for getting black-trainer scuff-marks off pale flooring.

haven't got a rubber in the house but presumed it wouldn't work as it's coloured pencil?

Wd40 works a treat on crayon on walls so you could try this.
