ruined setee?

Can anyone give me any advice on how to get candle wax off my setee? DD has knocked a melted candle all down side, its fabric, and NEW! Could cry!.

Put a couple of paper towels over the wax and iron over the paper at a low temp - it'll melt the wax and the towels will absorb it. You may have to do it a few times, but it's magic. I've saved fabric couches and carpet this way. Good luck!

random thought - any insurance policies that would cover it - home contents accident cover insurance? Insurance on the sofa itself if its new?
