Hoover just broke! Should I get a dyson?

Any recommendations other than a dyson?

I had a Dyson before my Miele Cat and Dog, the Dyson was ok but the Miele is absolutely brilliant. As you need an upright I would say a Sebo, in my opinion a close second to the Miele Cat and Dog, the Miele upright is quite heavy ...... and I know it's not on the cards for you but I use a Henry at a house that I clean, I hate it, it's heavy, clumsy and just doesn't do it's job, in fact I've started to take my Miele, I was astonished at the filth it lifted from their carpet the first time I used it.

The dyson we had was crap, it had so many new parts fitted under warranty claims it was virtually a new cleaner.

Fucker still didn't pick up.
