I have an event in a few weeks and as I don't get out very often decided to buy a new top (a while back). The sleeves were a bit long so I decided to just take them up last night using wonderweb as I had some trousers to do anyway.
Well, I wasn't concentrating and managed to do them the wrong way round so the hem was turned up on the outside 
. I followed the instructions for unhemming and then did them the right way, but I've still got lots of residue on the outside and as the sleeves are black it's fairly obvious.
I really like the top as it's a perfect fit and in my colours and can't believe I might have ruined it (I also don't have the time to try and find another between now and the event). Does anyone have any tips to get the residue off without totally ruining the top????
