Large containers for flour storage etc - what do you use?

I've got one 'stone' container that's great, but I can't seem to get any more. (Inherited that one.)
I've also got other types of flour in glass jars but they're not really big enough.

Anyone use something that'll hold at least a bag of flour?

i use a \link{http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10103&storeId=7&langId=-20&productId=11597\big glass jar from ikea}. also use the smaller version ones for teabags, sugar, macaroni etc.

there's an ME Foundation charity shop near the IL's that always has loads of cool containers.

I use large lidded jars and metal containers from there. I've got self-rising plain, plain, wholemeal, self-rising wholemeal, two types of bread flour, rice flour and buckwheat.

Think I'm gonna go make some banana cakes in a 'mo . . .

I've got a beautiful blue enamelled container with "Flour" on it that used to belong to my Gran -trouble is its totally impractical for flour as its not airtight.

Hence the flour is in a big Tupperware-type container hidden away in the cupboard and the lovely enamel tin is on display but has packs of DSs rice cakes etc in.

Ooo - like the one from Ikea. That's a good size, too.

Charity shops are a good idea - never thought to look there. I bet you'd get quite a variety there and we've got at least 6 charity shops I can think of off the top of my head!

BS - it is nice to hold onto something a member of your family used.

I have plastic Addis containers, probably about 2L size.

I have 4 of these for plain, self-raising, sugar etc. but...

They are empty and stacked inside one another. I just have the bags in my cupboard.
