What is the lowest temp you wash at to get snot out of clothing?

I normally wash at 30 or 40. But at the minute I have a very snotty toddler and things just don't get clean. Black work suits are the worst - dry cleaning doesn't seem to work either :(

I remember those days.... I found it wasn't the temperature, but repeated washing that eventually got it out.

Soak in cold water first. Hot sets it and makes it harder to get out, like egg white it contains a lot of protein.
