Here in Humber area, its blowing a gale, heavy rain and freezing. However, just seen in a garden, a whirly bird clothes hanger thingy, full of washing with a parasol over the top Grin

Would this work? Would the parasol protect the clothes while they dry or will it all just be in a heap ?

Wont pass said invention to look til 3pm on my way home from work.

Any bets ? Grin

Not if its raining sideways!

MIL has a tarpaulin stretched over her washing line and swears by it. I don't see how enough air circulates that way.

Plus I like playing chicken with the rain clouds Grin

I love Thursdays, for a good game of chicken with the wheeli bin lorry. I get a kick out of being the last house to put bin outGrin
