Blu-tack on new carpet!!

My dd's had her carpet for about 9 months. She has got lots of little bits of blu-tack on it, any recommendations for removing?

Marking place, exact same problem. So cross. No more Thomas posters!! Picking at it doesn't work.

Sorry but the only thing I know that works is nail scissors

I'm sure there's something that dissolves blu tack like mayonnaise or vinegar or something.... Hope there is otherwise scissors are the only other option!

Apparently nail varnish remover dissolves it!

thanks for teh suggestions, Jazz you've triggered my memory for something like mayo on 'Kim's Rude Awakening' will investigate further and get back on here with my results!

Think I used a combo of ice cubes, nail polish remover (gently dabbed a cotton bud soaked in nail polish remover) and nail scissors!
Not sure which worked best and it was only a small bit but I managed to get it out thank God!

Doesn't WD40 work???
