are they worth having?
i sit in a wheelchair to iron and i'm always getting tangled, so they seem a good idea from that viewpoint

are they heavier than a normal iron (i'd find that difficult)

I forgot that cordless irons existed until I read the OP! We used to have one, it was ok but you needed to sit it down to heat up again very often.

It wasn't especially different in weight to other irons IIRC.

I used to spent ages waiting for the little light to flick off. Eg you might do the left front of a womens shirt - needs heating up. Then the right front - stop again. It was annoying, I bought a normal corded one next time.
