How can I get biro marks off a wooden toy?

I have tried using kitchen spray then a green scourer whcih did help but there are still some marks left.

Any ideas please?

Baby wipes will probably do it, if it's unpainted/unvarnished you could use very fine sandpaper as a last resort.

Forgot to say it is painted!
WIll try baby wipes though, thanks.

WD40 will clean biro, and other stuff.
