What does everybody recommend for gleaming whites (ok, not grey)?

I used Persil or Ariel bio, just wondering if anything better? Thanks everso.

I use Persil biological powder as every repair man I have met, for both washing machine and dishwasher, say using powder is better than tablets or liquid for some reason. I add vanish powder, the one in the green tub for extra hygiene and my whites are very white.

I don't ever use tumble dryer for clothes either, not sure if it makes a difference.

I've been using the Vanish stuff in the bright pink tub as it was on offer.

To be honest, I can't say it's any better than Ariel which I'll be going back to.

Usually soak a bucket of whites overnight with a scoop of ariel then bung in machine with normal tablet.

Find it v good for keeping them bright and getting marks out.

bio powder works best.
ariel and aldi both come up as very good on 'which'.
that and a scoop of soda crystals + drying in the sunif you can.

liquids do not contain bleach so you'd be better using a powder as they do contain bleach and should help whites to stay white. I also use a scoop of oxi action crystal white but dont know if it helps.

You need a biological powder detergent for whites, and any liquid for colours

I use a Colour Catcher (Stay White) sheet in all white washes. Also love Aerial Excel Gel
