I have a lovely beige carpet in the living room and know body is aloud to wear shoes but its still really dirty :( so will the bicarbonate of soda actually bring back the nice colour it was or does it just get stains out? and does anybody know of anything that will work to bring back its original colour without me spending a bomb?

That vanish carpet powder worked wonders on dds cream rug it really made it look brand new before it just looked grey and grubby. Good luck x

Rug Doctor. I rented one a few weeks ago and it took all the stains out of my cream (purchased before kids) area rug. It's fabulous.
