My kettle really needs descaling but I don't know which is the best(and cheapest) product to use
Can anyone recommend a good one or a home made product?

I think you can buy little sachets of citric acid in boots.

Oust is a good one they sell it in the supermarket and pound shops.

Cheapest I've found is Sainsburys Basics vinegar, about 13p a bottle. Stinks though and you have to boil 2 or 3 kettles full of water after to get rid of it.

I buy boxes of citric acid from the hardware store now and use that.

Kilrock is brilliant stuff!
