Underwhelmed by hand steam cleaner...

I LOVE my steam mop so bought a Beldray steam cleaner. It just sort of blasts the dirt off the tiles, but then the dirt sits down on the next patch of grout and stays there. My glass shower screen is NOT streak free.

I am not a natural housekeeper and was hoping this would be quick & easy. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need a special cloth to wipe up with as I go?

I just have the steamer in one hand and a microfibre cloth in the other and wipe as I go.

Ahhh ok. Are you in a hard water area? Wondering whether I need something to spray on first or whether I'd just end up gassing myself.

Ooh sorry I didn't reply. No I don't have hard water I don't think I woukd spray first tbh.

No advice but just wondering which steam mop you have? I want one but not sure which to get!
