So DH who's a housekeeping novice tried to help by cleaning my gas rings in my ceramic sink. I now have grey scratches on the bottom of it. Hmm

Is that it now? No more shiny white sink?

Hmm. I think you're scuppered. Ours is marked too. The only thing I could suggest is one of those magic erasers but you run the risk that they will very lightly scratch the sink.

Barkeepers friend(BF). I had those horrible metal marks on my belfast sink and tried EVERYTHING - cream cleaners, magic erasers, vim type scouring powders - everything I could think of and then read on MN that BF was magic and it isGrin. My DH loves it and uses it on anything he can find a reason for (and he doesn't cleanWink).
