Handheld hoover

I mean those dustbuster type hand held small hoover upper thingys.

Are they worth it? Or a fad? I am considering getting one, so any recommendations for good value for money ones much appreciated, thanks.

I wouldn't be without my handheld dyson. It's the most used item in our house. Would highly recommend.
