I had a whirlpool once, it was not this model, but it shortened or lengthened the wash-time, depending on how much washing i'd put in (turned out what i considered to be a full load was nowhere near, according to the machine...). But it broke after 5 years and i was too afraid of throwing good money after bad to get it repaired. I should have contacted the manufacturer, but i didn't.
In your link there, where does it say it's hot and cold fill by the way? I missed that bit, but yes, for some reason that is no longer considered to be a good thing, is it? Not sure why...
