Do I really need to dry clean this?

I have a cotton jersey blazer that my baby has been sick on. It has cotton lining and a polyester trim where the lining and outer material meet and inside the sleeves. Tiny amount of padding on the shoulders. The label says dry clean only. I'm really tempted to hand wash it - would it ruin it?

I wouldn't have thought so. I put a lot of dry clean only things in the washer! On a cold wash though and wash as delicates.
I can't see hand washing being a problem.
