I've used oven pride on the gas surrounds of the hob and the grill plate... I did read the instructions which said not to use it on certain metals, but I am really fucking thick didn't realise that they were made out of whichever offending metal they are and couldn't be arsed didn't think to check. Blush

They're all scabby looking now, I'm assuming they will always look scabby because no doubt something has been burned off them Sad Are they safe to use?

I'm bumping this because I'm scared to cook anything!

No idea but the oven pride bottle will have a helpline number, ring the company and they'll advise. Although I think it will be fine.

I ruined mine by putting in the dishwasher. They went really dull and horrible. I got some Brillo and scrubbed them and they are now shiny and new looking. Might be work a try

Thanks, I've emailed their customer services to check they're safe and I will get the brillo pads out, but I'm not holding my breath, I think they are beyond repair. Sad
