What do you condition a leather sofa with?

We have a semi aniline leather suite from furniture village that is 3 yrs old. It is cleaned regularly usually just with water but DC and dog are taking their toll and its starting to look a bit tired and the colour is wearing in some high traffic spots. Changing it is not an option and won't be for a few years yet.
What can I condition it with to nourish it a bit and being back the shine? I was thinking a balsam or wax type thing but obviously don't want to try it if it might damage it.
Any advice very welcome thank you.

I use Renapur Leather Balsam. It's great on the sofa, car seats, handbags and my boots.

Ok can I buy it from a supermarket or is it more specialist? I don't really know the difference between all the different types of leather but do you think it would be ok on the semi aniline that we have, it's slightly absorbent if liquids are spilt on it rather than a polished surface where liquids just bead up.

Saddle soap. I have horses and leather sofas and clean both with it. You can buy it in a bar or spray form.

However, I don't know what Semi aniline means so maybe no be any help!!

You can buy Lord Sheraton leather balsam from most supermarkets.

Just use very sparingly.
