I am considering going to the Ideal home show this weekend, i used to go yearly but it was the same every year, it became a joke as to who could buy the most useless item, i still have the pasty makers lol. As i have not been for a few yaers i was wondering if its worth the money.

I'm going next week. I searched for discount tickets, the best I could find were 2 for 1 on last minute & the same with the train ticket.

I'm expecting to buy useless tat that I didn't know I needed..

No. I wet yesterday (had a free ticket). Very crowded and items featured underwhelming. particularly the show homes.

Well i persuaded my bf to come with me, we also had 2 for 1 so thought what the heck lets just have a day out, neither of us bought any thing , i was very tempted to buy washable linty rollers but decided at the last minute to have a think about it, £25 saved there then.
all the usual tat some lovely stalls with kitsch stuff but nothing amazing, the usual cant live without hand held blender, steam mops, whirly floor mops and that great deal with cloths that soak up a whole bottle of cola?
still had a nice lunch and the samples of toffee vodka kept us going all day.
if we were collared to watch a demo and the decided not to have it we just said our husbands are at the beer stall and they have the cards, and wander off to look for them, the sellers know your not coming back but it makes you feel better when you've scoffed their samples and not bought anything
