Ten one-minute tasks

I seem to have several one-minute tasks that really need doing once a week in my attempts to stop the house descending into something even messier. I thought I would try to collect them into a group and do them all together in one ten-minute whirl on, say, Tuesday, instead of doing them ad hoc and them hassling me or not getting done at all

So, my list so far is-

Wind up vintage clock
Rinse out strainer in dishwasher
Top up softener with salt
Water house plants
Go through receipts stuffed in purse and bin/put in filing tray as appropriate

What else should be on there?

I like it!
Can't think of anything at the moment. I also want a list of things that need doing every few weeks so I can pick one to do each week eg wiping skirting boards

Swish toilet brush around, then wipe seat and rim with either a bit of loo roll or the towels you were about to throw into the laundry.

Check under your children's beds and in the bottom of their schoolbags

WD40 hinges and locks
Clean light switches
door handles
Throw out of date notices from the pin board

Clean the highchair.
Put dirty plates in neat pile

Have added erowid's light switches and door handles to my list, and also I raise you the banister rail as well.

Have also added another v urgent one that had slipped my mind - check level of central heating oil.
