best thing to use to clean arms of suede sofa?

and the bottom bits.

have just cleaned the rest after a biro incident but there's no way to take the arm/bottom covering off to clean it up whereas i could take the cushion/backrest bit covers off

lucysmam did you manage to get the biro off? If so, how?

most of the biro came out....there's still a very little bit where it was just.a great big black.splodge of.ink but am.going to try again tomorrow.

cheap hairspray .... and yes i went too when it was suggested but it works!! i sprayed it on and dabbed at the marks gently, it seemed to sort of dissolve some of the littler marks so there wasn't much ink to mop up. the splodge is taking a bit longer but is gradually coming out
