Reasonably priced nice children's single bed.

I need a single bed for my dc, as they are growing out of their cot bed. Are there any nice but reasonably priced wood type beds anywhere?

Everywhere seems to be around £400 and that's just too expensive.

I bought this one for my DS and it is lovely quality for the price:-

He has it in white, but there are other options too. Light wood is out of stock but I'm sure that's only temporary.

Gumtree? Freecycle? Then buy a new mattress?

We've got this one from aspace

Very easy assembly and lovely bed. Don't pay full price - they have regular generous discounts/sales. I think we got 30% off which was well worth it.

Just noticed that bed is about £50 more now than I paid for it! Sorry if that pushes it over budget OP.

I've just bought the same John Lewis one as Lurleene for my DD - it's a nice simple bed, but quite sturdy and well made.

Just bought white wooden one from feather and black - quite pricey but looks great and not as pricey but as nice as white company one. Think it was called 'Oxford'.
