Not in the drum bit, but the drawer and the tube from the drawer into the drum. I could cry. bloody tenants and lack of cleaning

I have pulled the drawer out sprayed the bejeezus with Cilit Bang and had a scrub.. What else can I do? It is integrated so not easy to pull all the way out.

it gets like that if you dont clean it out regularly. I use bleach spray and an old toothbrush to scrub the roof bit and then wipe with a wet cloth

Are you sure you can't pull the drawer all the way out? I have to press down a little and the whole thing comes out easily. I have to clean the powder drawer out and let it dry after every use to prevent mould growing. If you can't clean it properly can you flush some bleach through it on a hot wash?

I have pulled the drawer out and it is soaking in the sink at the moment, sorry for not being clearer.

I used this machine for 4 years before it was rented out for 2 years and never had mould...

It is a shock to the system I can tell you!

Just use an old toothbrush to clean it. Soaking isn't enough on its own.

The joys of not having long been moved back is that we don't own any old toothbrushes at the moment! I will have to and buy some tomorrow!

bathroom cleaner and bottle brush work well on the nooks and crannies. remember to clean the filter as well (you will probably find some coins/hairbands/collarthingies/dead things) and do a hot empty wash.
